Pre & Post Natal Health and Fitness



Legs Mums and Tums, is a company set up by me, Kate Munday, a fully qualified Personal Trainer and group exercise instructor which includes pre & post natal exercise. Since before I qualified as a Personal Trainer, I was inspired to work with females both on a pre and post natal basis due to the lack of information, help and encouragement that is provided to the unique and special population.

At Legs Mums and Tums, it is my aim to provide as much help and knowledge as I can to prepare mother and baby for the forthcoming journey.
I can help you to stay fit and healthy throughout your pregnancy by working on strength, endurance and pelvic floor, and by incorporating relaxation and breathing techniques, could help keep you stress free which for a pregnant woman is as important as eating right.

Getting you back into your clothes is just a part of personal training with Legs Mums and Tums, I also work with you to help you regain strength in your stomach muscles and back and improve your aerobic fitness.

My nutritional assessment and meal guidance can also help you get back in shape.

With so many things to think about, it is often the mothers nutritional and physical health that is put by the way-side in order to think about the new edition and all the wile, eating right and keeping fit can help you through your pregnancy, birth and getting back into you pre pregnancy self, not to mention the fantastic social benefits.
There is no doubt about it, exercise is a big plus for both you and your baby (dependent on contraindications)

Paul Conrad BSc (Hons), MSc, MCSP, MMACP (Chartered and State Registered Physiotherapist)


Paul qualified as a Chartered Physiotherapist from Southampton University in 2004. He began his Physiotherapy career at Bromley Hospitals NHS Trust, where he worked for four years. He left the NHS as Senior Physiotherapist in 2008 to embark on a career in private practice. Paul's NHS training and private experience has exposed him to teating a wide range of musculoskeletal conditions including acute and chronic pain and post-operative rehabilitation.

Paul's drive to keep abreast of new approaches through evidence based practice led him to complete his Masters degree in Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy at Brighton University in 2012. Following the completion of his Masters Degree he obtained full membership status to the Musculoskeletal Association of Chartered Physiotherapists (MACP).

The MACP is a group of over 1100 physiotherapists, who are members of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy. In addition to their undergraduate training they have all undertaken extensive postgraduate study and reached a recognised standard of excellence in neuromusculoskeletal physiotherapy. In the UK the MACP is recognised as the specialist manipulative therapy group by the International Federation of Orthopaedic Manipulative Physical Therapists.

Paul also has experience in the management of sports injuries, having previously worked part time as a Charlton Athletic Youth Academy Physio and in treating UK Judo athletes.

Paul's clinical focus is on treating the underlying cause for musculoskeletal dysfunction and pain, rather than simply treating the symptoms. He gains great job satisfaction from seeing his clients recover from injury and realise their true potential. He believes treating patients as individuals with their own unique goals and expectations.

Holistic massage with Jennette Wand





Massage is the use of hands to manipulate the soft muscles of the body to aid in relaxation, stimulation or rehabilitation of the body and will help to promote suppleness of the body’s muscles, improve your circulation and reduce any stress you may be experiencing.

Massage is known for making you feel soothed and comforted as touch is known to promote those feelings.
Massage also has an unknown stimulating effect of the body’s systems.
Massage helps to improve the Circulation, Digestion and Neural communications. Massage has an Invigorating and Relaxing effect on muscles helping to prevent Spasms and Stiffness. Massage also helps to speed up Skin desquamation and Cell regeneration.
It is thought that up to 75% of all illnesses are a result of stress on the body so massage can help bring a greater health benefit to you other than it just being a pampering treatment such as.

About Jennette

I am a therapist at the Broadway Physiotherapist clinic and have been studying different massage techniques as a general interest over the last few years which lead me on to the natural progression to study full time at an ITEC Diploma in Holistic Massage achieving top marks.
My treatments aim to give the client a great sense of relaxation and care as all the treatments I perform have a focus on relieving tension held in the parts of the body included in the treatment I am giving.
I have different routines to cater for the different requirements a person may have ranging from a Full body massage or a back massage or if you have extra areas that may need some treatment you can add an area on to your back massage.
For those who don’t want to remove cloths or have oil applied to their skin I offer a Indian head massage which is performed in a seated position and involves work done to the top of the back, shoulders, arms, head and face. The treatment involves a mix of relaxing and stimulating techniques over the top half of the body releasing tension and helping to improving the client’s skin and hair.
For those who really enjoy a relaxing pampering treatment I offer a Natural Lift Facial Massage which is a sequence of movements over the neck, chest, face and head area. Massage to these areas will help to realise tensions and ‘fixed’ muscles which contribute to those unwanted wrinkles and as with all types of massage the blood and lymph flow to the skin and facial muscles is improved helping to give the skin an improved, toned and revitalised appearance.
